Confirm Your Reservation

“And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”

Call me old, because I am. And the older I get the more complicated this world is becoming even in the age of smart phones and AI technology. Take booking a hotel for instance. Now days you don’t even need to talk to a human being to book your hotel stay which is great on the surface. You can do it all on line yourself. Everything works great until you run into a problem and then thats when the wheels start to come off.

I have been assisting an elderly couple by paying for their stay in a numerous hotels this past month as they wait for an apartment to be made available. Booking the original stay is never a problem. The problems begin when I attempt to add additional days to their stay. Then I have to go back on line and make a new booking all together and then I am given another number to call to speak with a representative since the couple is already occupying a room at the hotel and they will be staying in the same room once the new reservation is made. This usually takes about 20-30 minutes of holding since the front desk is assisting customers.

Because I have done this numerous times now I am able to assist the front desk in booking the room for additional days. Each time I hang up I find myself reminiscing about the good old days when you could do everything via a front desk receptionist who took care of everything, and I always thank Jesus that He has made our reservation in heaven so simple. All we need to be saved is to call upon the name of the Lord. Its a one stop shop you could say! There is no website, no middle man or third party to go through. We can call directly on Jesus who has paid up in full our place in eternity. Think about this today. There is one way to heaven, one price for admission, one person to go to and to go through to get there. Jesus took care of everything and when everything is ready He will come and get us and take us home! Today’s a great day to confirm your reservation.
