I saw a funny meme on Instagram the other day of a picture of a small child who was having a disagreement with his mother. The caption below the picture said, “I want to go to grandma’s house because she says yes.” Are you aware that God likes to say “YES to His kids? Do a google search on how many promises there are in the Bible and you will find a wide range of answers depending on the translation. I found 3573 promises in my own search, and thats a lot of promises. It’s been well said, “The Christian life is lived on the promises of God not the explanations of God.”
I read a news report where someone won $44,000,000 in a Florida lottery and never claimed the prize! Can you imagine that? It reminds me of something Billy Graham said once, “Heaven is full of answers to prayers that have yet to be prayed.” The Bible is filled with thousands of promises, many of them which must be claimed to enjoy. So, what are you waiting for? Get out your bible and start digging through the Word of God in search of every promise He has for you. You will be so glad you did, I promise you!
