Father Knows Best

“Into Your hands I commit my spirit.”

Luke 23:46

Jesus life and even His death serve to teach us how to live our own lives to the fullest each day! How different would your life and mine be today if we actually believed “all things” and not just some things “work together for good to them that loved God and who are called according to His purpose?” What if God makes everything beautiful in His time governed our thought pattern today? Would we enjoy a greater sense of peace and joy. Oh how I forget that the devil loves to take what is beautiful and ruin it, while God loves to take what is ruined and make it beautiful.

Abraham faced an impossible situation and in the process became a friend of God for the simple fact he did not focus on his impotence but rather Gods omnipotence. Here’s something to consider today. "The very fire that blackens the horizons warms my soul. The darkness that oppresses my mind sharpens my vision. The flood that overwhelms my heart quenches my thirst. The thorns that penetrate my flesh, strengthen my spirit. The grave that buries my desires deepens my devotion. Man's failure to comprehend the intention of God is one of life's true calamities."

In other words, “not my will but Yours be done” is not a surrender to the inevitable but an invitation to experience the endless hope of possibility because our Heavenly Father knows best!

I LOVE YOU!
