Just Because He Is

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?”

Micah 6:8

I saw a quote that said, “Just because it’s hard doesn’t mean God’s not in it. Just because it hurts doesn’t mean He can’t use it. Just because you feel alone, it doesn’t mean He’s not working. Just because no one on earth applauds, it doesn’t mean Heaven’s not cheering you on. Just because others are against you doesn’t mean God’s not for you.” Now more than ever we need to be people of faith who are fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

Reading the book of Micah I am reminded why we should all drop to our knees to thank God that life isn’t fair for if life was fair based on the definition of fair being, “equal distribution” we would all be in a world of hurt for the simple fact, “for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” We need to thank God today and every day for His amazing grace and that He is a just God and in His justice has made provision for our salvation in ways being fair never could. Romans 6:23 makes it clear, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Thats a big but, and thank God for it!

Life is hard, loved one and even though we get tired and weak, just because God is omnipotent He provides us the necessary strength for the journey ahead. Just because of Jesus deity and the fact that He is omniscient He understands us and He sympathizes with our pain more than we could ever comprehend. When you hurt, Jesus hurts too. And Maybe the best news for today is knowing that just because God is omnipresent, even when we must go it alone at times in this life, we are never truly alone as God Himself is right there beside us each step of the way. Just think, one day you will meet Jesus face to face and when you do just because God loves you He will take you in His loving arms and will whisper in your ear, “well done, I knew you would make it”. Just because!

“to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”

Romans 3:26

I LOVE YOU!
