What You See is What You Get
“For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods.”
Psalm 95:3
Albert Einstein once said, “There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Reading that quote brings a word to my mind. The word I am thinking of is the word, “perspective”. We have all heard the expression, “is the glass half full or is it half empty?” It’s a matter of perspective.
Are you aware that what you think about God is the most important thing about you? How you and I see God has everything to do with how we will live our lives each and every day. Do we see Him as holy and true, everlasting and sovereign over all, caring and omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent? Or, do we see Him as hard, uncaring, and uninvolved in the affairs of our lives, distant, ready to criticize and then to pouch on us every chance He gets? It cannot be over stressed that how you and I see God has everything to do with how we will relate to Him. Your perspective will determine how close you draw to Him.
The key to victory today is simple. It’s all a matter of perspective. Don’t focus on the size of your problem, change your perspective today and focus on the size of your God. Get in the Word of God and let the Word of God get into you! Do more than just read it, seek to apply and walk in it. You will soon discover that nothing, absolutely nothing is too difficult for our God. Regardless of how big the mountains you might be facing, remember, God is bigger than everything He created.
Something is going to get the best of you and me today friend and I pray it is our time spent with God. Lets determine to give the best of our day to the Eternal One and not the temporal and lesser things. I am reminded almost weekly, “what matters 100 years from now is what should matter most right now”. The point is, truth never changes! And all that will matter 100 years from now is what you and I do with and for Jesus today? Keep Jesus between you and everything else and your day will be blessed because you will have discovered for yourself…
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
1 John 4:4
I LOVE YOU!
