Joy Is On The Way!

Joy Is On The Way

“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Psalm 16:11

Are you aware that the darkest moment of each night is just prior to the dawn of a new day? Sailors who were trapped in the tempest of the sea at night would find hope in the midst of the storm once they could see the morning star in the sky because they knew that it was going to be light soon, the dawning of a new day. I don’t know about you but in these ever increasing dark days we are living in I find tremendous comfort in knowing its darkest right before the dawn!

If your heart is discouraged by all the events taking place in the world today may you find comfort in knowing there is promised in scripture a new day coming! A day unlike no other day in human history, as this day will be marked by the glorious appearing of Jesus Christ in the clouds, when He comes to receive His bride and take her home. Yes, loved one, just like the darkness of night is greatest right before the dawn, the powers of darkness working in this world are greatest too, just prior to the greatest revelation of God’s amazing light.

So, next time you fear news about how dark the world has become, how lawlessness seems to be increasing and the love of many people is becoming colder, remember Jesus warned us that all these things must take place (not might take place) just before His glorious return. Proof, the darkness is always greatest before the dawn!

If you find yourself in the middle of a life storm, or maybe you have become keenly aware of the darkness in this world, rest assured a new day is dawning! Psalm 30:5 reminds us, “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.”

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

I LOVE YOU!
