Whistle While You Work

"Never be lazy in your work, but serve the Lord enthusiastically."

Romans 12:11 NLT

Has someone ever been singing a tune to a silly song that you knew and within minutes had you singing the same words because you couldn’t seem to get the tune out of your head? Proof we have the ability to influence others even without their consent. When you see somebody serving God enthusiastically, and it's genuine enthusiasm, it's contagious. If ever there was a time in human history where we all understand what it means to be contagious it is during these days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mondays are typically hard days in the world of economics as most business people who had the weekend off and are heading back to another full and long week ahead. Mondays might just be the best witnessing day for followers of Jesus to impact their work places with the gospel of Jesus Christ. What might the work place be like if all believers went to work with joy, exuding the same kind of happiness that most of their counterparts enjoy on Friday? Are you aware that the word enthusiasm comes from two Greek words “en” which translates to the English word “in” and the Greek word “theos” where we get our English word “theology”. In other words, the most enthusiastic people are those whose lives are founded in God.

Let your light shine, loved one, whistle while you work so to speak. Influence your workplace with the gospel by singing His praises putting a song in the hearts and minds of those you come in contact. Understand your faith is contagious. Serve God with joy today, do everything as if what you were doing was for Jesus Himself because in reality, you are!

“And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.”

Matthew 25:40

I LOVE YOU!
