Tell It Like It Can Be

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1

How you see the world depends largely on where you get your news from. If you watch the news on television or read most of the printed newspapers today you would get the sense that unless someone does something pretty fast this world as we know it is as the old saying goes is, “headed to hell in a hand basket.” But, if you meet a person of true faith, a faith that is based solely upon God and His Word, you will learn that things are progressing at just the right pace and according to God’s plan. Because this is true you and I have the ability to be faith agents today as we go about our business. We do have a choice to make. We can be like the world around us and “say it like it is”, or we can walk as children of light and tell the world “how it can be.” After all, its faith that gives birth to hope.

Whats the real difference you might be thinking between seeing life through our natural eyes or spiritual eyes. Simply put, one is negative while the other positive. The negative perspective of life is witnessed through our natural eyes, whereas a positive viewpoint is seen through the eyes of faith. Faith gives us the ability to see what our natural eyes cannot. The Bible teaches us that there is a visible world that can be seen as well as a spiritual world surrounding us that can only be seen through the eyes of faith. The Word of God tells us that the natural man cannot comprehend the things of God as God Himself must reveal them to us. That’s why each of us, before coming to Christ walked by our natural eyesight and not through the eyes of our faith for the simple fact it’s coming to Jesus that allows the lame to walk and the blind to see! Remember, its faith Jesus said that gives us the ability to move mountains!

The gospel of Jesus Christ is called “Good News” for a reason. It supersedes all other news as its being good has nothing to do with circumstances or situations. The “Good News” that, “God so loved this world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life” never grows old and serves to remind us that in the end God triumphs over all. Thats why we can hold our head high today, its why we can look up instead of down. Those who are in Christ Jesus have the promise of God of a bright and glorious future and because of this truth we have the privilege of telling the world not just how it is but, “how it can be!”

“How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

Isaiah 52:7

I LOVE YOU!
