It's All Good In Jesus

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Romans 8:28

How different would our days be if we really believed, trusted and rested in the fact that God’s Word is true, I mean really true? Not just parts of the Bible but the whole Bible. If we really believed what God says in His Word we’d all be reminding each other daily, “don’t sweat the small stuff and just remember it’s all small stuff.” That is with regard to God Himself, as nothing His Word says is too difficult for Him. God majors on miracles! That is important news for us to know as we go through this life as each of us will face dark days, seasons of life that make no sense to us no matter how we look at it and yet none of that has any impact on the fact that God is working everything out for our good since before the world began to take on form.

Is there anything that you are worrying about today that you have no control over? Is there something that is making you anxious because it remains unknown and has you in the dark or out of your reach? Don’t forget that you can trust an unknown future to a known God. Give your worries over to God in prayer today, recalling to your mind, that if it’s important enough for you to worry about its important enough to pray to God about. Five hundred years ago, Michel de Montaigne said: "My life has been filled with terrible misfortune; most of which never happened." All the more reasons to “pray without ceasing” and to “cast all our cares upon Him because He cares about you.”

Fear rips all of us off at some point in life. The enemy of our souls uses fear and intimidation of the unknown to immobilize us, to get us to walk by sight and not by faith. Science tells us 85% of the things we worry about never come to pass so why do we continue to worry? That tells me we get duped by the devil far more than we’d like to give him credit for or would even want to admit. So how do we learn to believe and trust the Word of God in our day to day lives. One of my favorite pastors to listen to says often, “Read your bible every day and pray and obey.” Simply put, “walk in it”, walk in the Word of God. That’s why there is a real simple reason for this admonition scripture. “So then, faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17).

There are many in this world who live under the false premise that everything works itself out in the end and most of us know that is simply not true. There is going to be a rude awakening for many one day. The only positive promise we have in scripture with regard to how things work out in the end is that all things work together for good to those who love God and who are called according to His purpose. God never said all the things we will go through in this life are good or will be good. He just promised in His sovereignty to overrule the enemy of our soul and to bring about a glorious end for us who love Him and are seeking by His grace to know and grow in His purpose for our lives.

Its all good, loved one! All things will ultimately work out for you as you just continue to love the Lord and walk in His calling for your life. Rest in that, trust in it. Don’t sweat the small stuff today knowing its all small stuff.

“being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ”

Philippians 1:6

I LOVE YOU!
