The Best Day of Your Life

"This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. "The Lord is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!"

Lamentations 3:21-24

Today has all kinds of possibilities loved one, and believe it or not, this could really be the best day of your life. So, what are you waiting for? Live life to the fullest today. Pray and take steps you can only make by faith. Trust God and take Jesus words to heart today. You can’t back into your future the apostle Paul told us. To get where God is leading us we need to learn the lessons of yesterday but focus on what’s in front of us now. Learn to eliminate the distractions in your life by forgetting the things which are behind and pressing on to what lies ahead. Often times we miss the blessings of God that are right in front of us because we are either dwelling on something that happened or didn’t happen yesterday or we are worrying about what might or might not happen tomorrow.

In Matthew 6:25-34 Jesus said, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

That's right loved one, yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift and is why its called the present! Keep that in mind today. Today is a gift. Unwrap it and live today knowing,

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Jeremiah 29:11

I LOVE YOU!
