The Rebirth of the Church part 2

Last Sunday was the celebration of Pentecost, the celebration that took place 50 days after Passover. For the Jew’s Pentecost was the celebration of the Harvest. For Christians it was the celebration of the birth of the church, the day the Holy Spirit was poured out on the apostles and the followers of Jesus for the purpose of fulfilling God’s purpose in the harvesting of souls in the Great Commission.
