Finding Joy As A Prisoner In Your Own Home

One of my favorite books in the bible is the book of
Philippians. When this Coronavirus first hit I taught
from it. It’s one of my favorite go to books in the
entire bible.

Are you aware that the book of Philippians is the
most joyful book in the Bible — the apostle Paul
uses the Greek words for “joy” and “rejoicing” 16
times in just 104 verses. Thats a lot of joy!

One of the most infallible signs of the presence of
God is joy. It is an unmistakable badge of divine
ownership

William Barclay in his commentary on Philippians
writes this,

"The Christian is a man or a woman of
joy. The Christian is the laughing Cavalier of
Christ."
