The Invisible Hand of God

You recall the story of Joseph. Pretty much everyone has heard the story of Joseph. Because Joseph was the favored son of his father Jacob, his brothers were envious and jealous of him.
One day his brothers came up with a plan and decided to sell him into slavery to the Midianites who just happened to be passing by. They did that, and then took his “coat of many colors” and threw the blood of a goat all over it in order to make it appear that he had been killed by a wild beast. They then showed the coat to his father Jacob, who believed their lie and sadly concluded that Joseph was dead.
