Jesus Comforts His Disciples

Jul 15, 2026    John Jones

Join us tonight as we continue our verse-by-verse study through the Gospel of John with Pastor John Jones.

Tonight's study takes us deeper into Jesus' Upper Room discourse as He prepares His disciples for His departure. In these chapters, Jesus offers comfort to troubled hearts, reveals His identity with two of His most profound "I AM" statements, promises the coming of the Holy Spirit, and teaches what it means to truly abide in Him.

We'll explore Jesus' declaration:

"I am the way, and the truth, and the life." (John 14:6)

and His final "I AM" statement:

"I am the true vine." (John 15:1)

As believers, we are called to abide in Christ, bear lasting fruit, love one another, and remain faithful even when the world opposes us. Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, Jesus promises His followers peace, comfort, and the power to live for His glory.
