In Antioch they were first called Christians 

You have to put this into perspective…

The church is being persecuted… the gospel is going into all the world not out of excitement but out of fear. 

Out of fear of the Jews they began to speak to gentiles… 

Gentiles had no dog in the fight… If anything they were polytheistic in their beliefs so Jesus Christ being God was just one more opportunity to worship. 

“Make Disciples” Know what you believe and why you believe it

Where do we begin making disciples of people who have never heard the gospel… they are easy, they are a blank slate 

The harder person to reach is the religious person who is comfortable in their religion…

Thats why the message of repentance is so important…. It means to change your ways
