You’ll explore breathtaking desert canyons, ancient encampments, and altars believed to be tied to the Exodus story. The experience culminates with a dawn hike to the summit of Mount Sinai, where you’ll stand on sacred ground many believe is where God gave the Ten Commandments.
The total cost of the trip is $5,800 per person, which includes the full Mount Sinai summit extension. A $1,700 deposit is due at the time of registration, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure. A valid passport is required to travel and must be current for at least six months beyond your return date. Day 1: The Land of Midian – Where Moses Fled (Tour Begins)
Start your journey in Al-Bad’, hometown of Jethro. Explore the ancient caves/tombs attributed to him, visit the traditional Well of Moses (where he met Zipporah), and enjoy a stunning view of Midian. End the day at the shoreline of the Red Sea crossing.

Day 2: Red Sea Crossing & Israelite Campsites
Return to the Red Sea crossing site with options to snorkel or boat (subject to permit). See the site of Solomon’s pillar and travel the ancient route of the Israelites through Midian. Explore Wadi Tayyab Ism—possibly the biblical Elim or Marah.

Day 3: The Split Rock of Horeb
Visit the Split Rock of Horeb, where Moses struck the rock and water flowed. Explore nearby stone dwellings, petroglyphs, and encampment plains—possibly the battlefield with Amalek.

Day 4: The Real Mount Sinai – Jabal Maqla
Explore the base of Mount Sinai: the possible graveyard of those who worshiped the Golden Calf, the altar site, ancient wells, marble pillars, and dried streambeds. Learn why this mountain is a leading candidate for the biblical Mount Horeb.

Day 5: Elijah’s Cave & the Encampment Plain
Optional morning hike to the Cave of Elijah (2–3 hours). Then venture into the stark Hisma desert, retracing the Israelites’ journey after leaving Mount Sinai. Return to Tabuk for rest and prep for your early morning summit hike.

Day 6: Summit Mount Sinai
Wake before sunrise and hike the sacred mountain, Jabal Maqla. Reach the plateau where 70 elders may have met with God—and climb to the blackened summit. Take in unforgettable views and close the journey with awe and worship. Return to Tabuk for your evening flight or hotel stay (accommodation for this final night in Tabuk not included).
