Taking The Gamble Out of Evangelism

I believe God placed Acts chapter 14 in our

Bible to inspire us to greatness and to show us what

it looks like to be filled with the power of God that

Jesus said would be ours when the Holy Spirit

comes upon us. Remember back in Acts 1:8, Jesus

said,

“But you will receive power when the Holy

Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my

witnesses, telling people about me everywhere

—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria,

and to the ends of the earth.” Every time I read

the book of Acts I find myself praying, God fill me

with Your power, I need Your power.
