Stand Firm, Hold On Tight

The book of 2 Thessalonians can be summed up with three words, “Comfort, Correction, Command 

Chapter 1: Comfort in the Lord’s return

Chapter 2: Correction as to what must precede the “Day of the Lord”

Chapter 3: Commands on how we should live in light of the “Day of Christ” 

If you were with us a couple of weeks agon in our study in 2 Thessalonians 2 you recall the concern that the Thessalonians had was that they were suffering persecution and false teachers were teaching them that Paul was wrong and that the church was now experiencing the “Day of the Lord” which troubled them because Paul himself had taught that the church would be snatched away before the tribulation period would begin.
