Walking In Wisdom

This morning we wrap up a little series I titled,

“Thriving in Babylon” based on the title of the book

of the same name by Larry Osborne. In the book the

author discusses how Daniel the prophet who was

exiled along with the entire nation of Israel into

Babylonian captivity was able to find a way in a

culture far more wicked than anything we face,

to glorify and serve God with such integrity and

power that not only did the poor begin to

acknowledge the splendor of the living God but

so did kings, and an entire nation.

Daniel offers us a model for not only surviving but

thriving in the midst of the godless chaos around us.

Which raises a great question for us, How did he do

it?
