Passage: Esther 4-7
Series: Esther
Duration: 1 hr 31 mins 36 secs
Don’t you just love the story of Esther? A study of the providence of God. Tapestry Providence is God's overarching intervention in the affairs of man. It’s His means of accomplishing His purposes with or without man's cooperation. The word “providence” is the combination of two words: “pro” means “before”, “video” means “to see”. God sees the end from the beginning, and He orchestrates circumstances to produced the outcome He desires. Providence means that the hand of God is in the glove of human events. The prevailing of His will in all situations is what we call providence. God controls the human drama. The definition of the word "History" is found in its spelling "His Story."

Passage: Matthew 2
Series: Matthew
Duration: 1 hr 43 mins 17 secs
Simeon says of this baby Jesus that He is a light to bring to revelation… then Simeon delivers a prophecy to Mary that the effect her son would have… “A sign… that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed…” By Jesus the thoughts of many hearts would be revealed. The life of Jesus would expose the hearts. Thats what we find here in Matthew chapter 2. Three responses to Jesus.

Series: Matthew
Duration: 48 mins 37 secs
We just started a new series in the Gospel of Matthew and you recall how the story began… Verse 1: The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham: Matthew is the most Jewish book of the Gospels… Matthew is writing to Jews to show them that Jesus FULFILLED the prophecies concerning the promised Messiah. Mark wrote for a Roman audience, Luke for the Greeks, John’s gospel is for anyone and everyone.

Passage: Esther 1
Series: Esther
Duration: 1 hr 51 mins 48 secs
The Book of Esther Esther gives us a glimpse of the Jews who did not return from Exile that we read about in the books of Ezra and Nehemiah and to Jerusalem. God is at work even when its not obvious to us at the moment. Its true regarding Esther, its true of the Jewish people and its true about me and you as followers of Christ. Romans 8 reminds us in verse 28, that God works all things together for good to them that love Him and who walk according to His purpose. There is no such thing as luck. We serve a sovereign God.

Passage: Matthew 6
Series: Matthew
Duration: 1 hr 53 mins 8 secs
Read Matthew chapter 6. The message is simple. Jesus says, Don’t be like the people in the world around you and worry about everything. Don’t be like everybody else. Your Heavenly Father knows you need food and clothes. The Word of God teaches us that what brings a family together is our focus on the goal of the Gospel.

Passage: Nehemiah 13
Series: Nehemiah
Duration: 1 hr 35 mins 3 secs
Like I shared last week. I wish the book of Nehemiah closed with chapter 12 with the Jews who had returned to the city at a great place in their relationship with God. But life doesn’t always finish on a high note. Though in chapter 12 we have the Jews rejoicing with singing and with instruments and even a choir that can be heard miles away. As the book of Nehemiah comes to a close a great question should be dominating our thoughts. How do I apply this book to my own life?

Genealogies are the portion of scripture most of us if we are honest, we skip… After all, it’s not like we are in it… Family trees usually mean the most to the people whose tree it is. Take the Smith family for example.
