"How To Win At Life"

"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

1 Corinthians 15:57

Most books written today are classified as "How To" books as authors know that an overwhelming number of those who read books often do so in hope of gaining some new insight that will assist the reader in experiencing a more abundant life. Though the Bible wasn't written to be a "how to" book, there are within its pages many truths that when studied in depth demonstrate a consistent pattern of living by those who enjoyed victories in this life.

First and foremost, all lasting victories find their foundation in God. Don't believe me, believe the Word of God. Study Romans 1 for yourself and you will find that those who suffer the greatest defeats in this life are those who choose to be ungrateful. Likewise, those who look to God with a heart of gratitude will ultimately experience the victory that God Himself provides. Maybe you have heard the expression, "an attitude of gratitude" a phrase that is considered by almost all life coaches, counselors and teachers to be one of the most important core characteristic of those who consistently walk in victory in their daily lives.

A better life begins with a better day and today is the day that the Lord has made so let us rejoice and be glad in it. Count your blessings today, loved one. Take a few minutes and think of things you can be thankful. Begin with God and work out from there. Thank God for His amazing love and for His mercy and grace. Thank God for giving us Jesus as our Savior. Thank God for the victory that the Cross has provided for us over sin and death. Just think, the penalty of our sin was paid in full on Calvary's Cross. The power of sin was broken as well when Jesus died in our place. And looking ahead, one day, even the very presence of sin will be gone from us as Jesus will make all things new as old things pass away and mortality puts on immortality. Yes, loved one, we have much to be thankful for today.

Are you wanting to experience victory in your life today? Its as simple as giving thanks. Thank God, and in turn thank people every chance you get today and watch what happens to your day. Discover for yourself the foundation of victorious living, which is a grateful heart. I appreciate the words of William Arthur Ward who once said, "Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings." Yes, loved one, there is power in gratitude! Be blessed as you walk in victory today being thankful!

"Praise the LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever."

Psalm 106:1

I LOVE YOU!
